Superb orange yellow cut flowers for floral arrangement.
Appears to have good disease resistance.
Medium frost hardy.
An erect spreading evergreen shrub. Produces orange yellow pincushion flower heads terminally from Spring to early Summer.
Likes an open sunny situation in acidic free draining light soils in full sun.
Prune back after flowering has finished from half to two – thirds to promote flowering for the following season. Not drought tolerant. Prefers full sun or part shade. Plant in an open sunny postion in free draining, acidic soil. Prune back after flowering to shape and size. Avoid Phosphorous Fertilizers. If needed, use a low phosphorous fertilizer in late spring after flowering.
